Well I officially resigned this year. Theyíre about to do a new record and I just have so much going on musically. Iím trying to move most of my time towards music that Iím into now, as an older guy. It just wasnít honest for me to do another H2O record. Hardcore is a special thing that you donít want fake. I just didnít wanna fake it anymore. It was a twenty year run with H2O. I wrote a ton of songs with them. Iím proud of everything and Iím proud of them. And Iím sure that the new recordís gonna be great.
Congratulations to the winner of H2O's Don't Forget Your Roots contest, where the band selected their favorite compilation from a list of significant songs submitted by users. You can listen to it here.
Today, I'm excited to bring you an interview with H2O bassist Adam Blake and a contest courtesy of Bridge 9 Records. In celebration of the band's upcoming album, Don't Forget Your Roots, we've decided to give away a copy of the CD and a special item. Head to the replies for more details.
H2O will be playing a record release show at the Gramercy Theater on November 19 to support their upcoming covers album, Donít Forget Your Roots, and a re-release of their self-titled. Tickets go on sale this Friday.
