The rapper and the former Beatle have quietly been collaborating on a number of tracks that could develop into an album, we’re told. One song, tentatively titled “Piss on My Grave,” is sparking some chatter.

The NFL has reportedly narrowed down a shortlist of Super Bowl halftime performers: Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Coldplay. More importantly though, the Wall Street Journal reports that the league has inquired about a "pay to play" type of deal.
While notifying the artists' camps of their candidacy, league representatives also asked at least some of the acts if they would be willing to contribute a portion of their post-Super Bowl tour income to the league, or if they would make some other type of financial contribution, in exchange for the halftime gig.

Counting Crows will be playing Somewhere Under Wonderland LIVE at Irving Plaza on August 31st. The free, one-night only show, will feature the band's live performance of the new album along with some of their classic hits. You'll be able to stream the show live on Yahoo.
We have purposefully chosen an intimate theatre setting rather than a large venue or stadium. It would mean a great deal to me if you would please refrain from taking photos or filming during the shows. I very much want to have contact with you as an audience, not with iphones, ipads or cameras. I know it’s a lot to ask but it would allow us to all share in the experience together.
