To keep you all informed (accurately and unbiased) we are here to let you all know what the real deal is with TDS. Yes we are no longer a band. We would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for letting us travel the world, create albums, and meet some of the coolest people and musicians on the planet. Thank you for over 50,000 record sales and over 200,000 single sales and a fan base that blew our minds everytime we went on tour. Sadly the day has come where AJ has decided to take up being a father and focusing on that aspect for his life. As for future music Matt is planning to...
The Dangerous Summer have released a statement about the kickstarter for their DVD that was supposed to be released by now.
Sorry for letting you all down, this is 100% my fault and I understand the hate, disapointment and speculation. Just please try and understand how hard it is making a DVD when you have never done it and there were a lot of things that went unaccounted for when planning this thing. This is not something we can simply refund as the money raised was used to make the DVD which the origional version (which we personally were not satisfied with and wanted to redo) has been released in segments online at http://vimeo.com/jmvisuals and if you would like to listen to the hour...
Whether you’re an old fan, casual listener, or just heard “Catholic Girls” and enjoyed it, this tour is definitely worth going to. The Dangerous Summer plays a great mix of material, while opener Tommy & The High Pilots heightens the bar for future live shows.

AJ from The Dangerous Summertook to Twitter to call out "fake" bands using auto-tune and co-writers yesterday. And while hovering around the topic, this is my plea to celebrities to use a Tweetlonger service or get a blog.

With The Dangerous Summer announcing their new album, Golden Record today, I figured it was only right to ask AJ some questions about the new album and the future of the band. You can read my short interview with him here.
Matt and Ben were definitely sent from heaven. They came at the perfect time. We were trying out drummer after drummer and guitarist after guitarist. After so many misses, we finally found the men we were looking for. It was so hard to go on day after day, not feeling like our band was at it's full potential, but we made it through. We always make sure that we push through any hard time. When Tyler left the band, we recorded War Paint a month later. When Bryan left, we...
