Considering Ritter’s rock & roll background it’s no surprise that he will sing and play piano and organ in the film, while Russell reportedly showed off his slide guitar chops during his audition and will be singing and playing in the movie as well. This is far from Ritter’s first go at acting either: He recently appeared in a multi-episode arc on the NBC show Parenthood, and is a recurring character onBetas, a new comedy streaming on Amazon.
Tyson Ritter, the frontman for The All American Rejects, will be performing the new song "Air" on the November 7th episode of Parenthood. The singer has secured a recurring role on the show as Oliver Rome.

The All American Rejects will release Kids in the Street on March 27th. Our not so mysterious Drew Beringer wrote up a little preview after hearing some new tunes. After hearing the full thing, I've got to agree: the band really stepped up their game on this one. I've got a running joke that the quicker my wife comes in to ask what I've got playing on the stereo, the more I know people are going to love an album. She'd heard of the band before, didn't like them, and within three songs was asking who it was. She was shocked, and after the album finished admitted to really liking what they did.
