Only when you have a badass chest piece to show off ...

Also ... considering how many of these bands there are with stupidly higher and higher pitched singers, I can't believe no one has turned up with a ludicrously low croon.

this is so fucking good
i love when they sighn bands like this

These guys were already listed on Rise's website yesterday hehe. They're alright. Nothing special, but I guarantee I'll be buying their debut record.

I could see myself getting into this band. The vocals are really good (yes they are high pitched), but still good.

encmetalhead 11/09/09 04:55 PM

vocals are really good actually

Screams don't sound very good -- both in terms of performance and mixing -- but the clean singing is good.

terrible band name.

barkingincision 11/09/09 07:06 PM

i knew this band would get signed
typical
good vocals, though it's an obvious attempt at jonny craig. they're even on tour with him.
the production quality is atrocious.

barkingincision 11/09/09 07:12 PM

i would actually like to hear this dude without so much blatant autotune on his voice, maybe some actual reverb.
whoever is producing these screamo bands really needs to stop.

why does every band nowadays with a high-pitched singer automatically have to be thrown into the category "trying to be like Jonny Craig"

i've already seen that
i already said he was good.
and yes, he is influenced by jonny craig and anthony green, all that
honestly this band would be more listenable if the production wasn't so shitty
do you even hear those drums? no tonality, just flat and processed, and the vocals are so laced with antares it's hard to imagine this producer has a job.

Their singer sounds nothing like either singer. Honestly, he sounds more like Misha from Broadway. As far as the production goes, did you stop and think there could be a possibility that this is only a demo? Demos typically have shitty quality.

hopefully it's just a demo
but according to Rise's blog they just finished their album with the guys who did the Of Machines, Oceana, Broadway and more albums so it should be decent

Mr. Nasty Time 11/09/09 07:31 PM

they look like every other band (you'd see in alt. press)
