Movie News Gus Van Sant’s new Untitled movie starring Mia Wasikowska (alice in wonderland) and Henry Hopper has started filming. Supposedly (according to a poster) it’s about a girl who's getting cancer treatment who's view on death is very different than most people-- while most people may fear it, she sees it as a step towards the bettering of the human race (an interpretation of Darwin's theories). The other character is a boy who almost died who crashes funerals because he's fascinated with death. If they really make a Metal Gear Solid movie, I will be first on line to see it. It's my favorite video game ever and I thought it would make a fantastic movie right from day one.

What's the point of a Metal Gear Solid movie, when there's no way they could compete with the scope, or complexity that any of the games have?? They would need a budget that is ridiculous, and wouldn't get it.
