The new album exceeded my expectations. Really hope this band can continue.

blissfulrain 02/11/10 07:53 AM

Sure hope they can put out more records :\

backstagebethy 02/11/10 08:01 AM

This is my favorite album they've done so far, I hope they can keep 'em coming. Great dudes.

tyramail 02/11/10 08:20 AM

i really hope it isn't the end of them, they are great.

JordanBuell 02/11/10 08:24 AM

providence36 02/11/10 08:27 AM

well spoken interview

Hojonny 02/11/10 08:40 AM

Man I hope the google searches don't kill yet another band.... I hate the google searching bands.

ched zeppelin 02/11/10 08:40 AM

one of my favourite bands, love everysong. last album is flawless, everything they release is gold

uglystar03 02/11/10 08:40 AM

That was a good read. I love Qu and I really hope the band can continue.

yup.

transitrock 02/11/10 08:42 AM

someone fucking sign these dudes.

Kill_the_radio 02/11/10 08:45 AM

I hope this is not the end for them, they've been struggling for so long now.

bones jones 02/11/10 09:04 AM

a lot of people call this band underrated, i don't necessarily agree with that because it seems that most people who know about them absolutely love them. i'm no exception. sing but keep going and qu are incredible records and a different light isn't quite as good but still solid. if they could find exposure i think they'd be huge on the level of switchfoot (not comparing the two at all)

That cracked me up.

This was a decent interview. Didn't appreciate the slamming of others around them. That wasn't needed and is no different then it as always been. Altogether, some of the points reminded of Straylight Run's similar predicament for the future.

Agreed.

Bands like this epitomize the failing music scene

Bodyjar Rocks 02/11/10 11:25 AM

As far as the failed myspace label goes... bad news to some people is good news to others, so I dont know, maybe this is awesome news!

CRDPats12 02/11/10 11:34 AM

Glad to hear it might not be the end just yet...MySpace records was kind of a gamble, I guess, and it could've paid off big time. It's alright though, don't let the system get ya guys!

CaryGrant 02/11/10 11:37 AM

There's over a 50% chance this band is playing my wedding.

NorthstarPark 02/11/10 01:15 PM

They better not break up because every band I like breaks up. I love this band to death.

xapplexpiex 02/11/10 04:30 PM

My mom got me QU for Christmas and I still play it a couple times a week. Stay together!

Jonathan Bautts 02/11/10 04:45 PM

FYI: The full, rather extensive interview can be found here.

xashkox 02/11/10 07:03 PM

i really, really hope they stay together and make another record.

thefirewithin 02/11/10 08:01 PM

If you read the full interview he talks about how Tate posted here on ap that it might be the last Sherwood album... How'd I miss that? Anyone else remember it?

I think this post is what he was referring to.

ClarkS 02/12/10 11:15 AM

I agree, I hope they keep putting out music
