Coheed Tour Update

Below was an update Coheed & Cambria left via myspace for their fans regarding line-up changes for their upcoming tour.
Message"Coheed Tour Update-
For the upcoming August dates, due to personal reasons, Mic and Josh will not be performing with Coheed and Cambria. Instead, Claudio and Travis will be joined by Matt Williams (who formerly teamed with them in the band Jumblehead - from Nyack, NY) on bass and our beloved MP (ex-Samiam) on drums. "We'll discuss their future at a later date, but right now, all we want to do is to get out and play for our fans," Claudio said. "Travis and I are excited to share the stage with Matt and MP, because they add a new flavor to the songs and it makes performing them even more fun."

Coheed and Cambria will begin working on a new album this fall."

Wowwwww. Didn't see that coming. I liked Josh because he didn't look like he fit in with the look of the rest of them. Oh well hopefully the band will be better.

From what I'm getting off the Coheed board, Mic and Josh are just temporarily out for this tour. I mean, that's still really bad, but they haven't permantely left, yet.

I still love Coheed.

Well, they'll still have Claudio being a dick and/or stoned.. so who knows.

In 2002 and 2003, this band was one of my favorite bands. Funny how a bunch of shitty live shows and subpar albums can change my feelings on them so much.

its like they're going on a "break" with each other. and they'll see how they feel after some time apart, haha.

"i think we need to see other people.."

im going to guess that these fill in members might not be permanent but the original will probably not be back.

I don't really agree with ACA completely but I definatly have to disagree with your statement. AFI is probably bigger than ever now days.

Coheed is not Coheed without those two though. I love Mic:(
