Not a bad song, and not a bad video, but man, the lead singer's hair and 'stache really bug me. That being said, hair doesn't make the music.

Brilliant, much better than I was expecting, shocking Chariot departure.

These dudes are fantasmic.

this is also Director Marco De La Torre's first vid in a long long time in the U.S. market. He's going to make a monster comeback this year & this vids a great way to start :)

Agreed. I've played a couple shows with these guys and never really understood the popularity. But the song is actually pretty damn good. They're also really nice dudes, especially the drummer, Jake.

I like the song...I feel like the bridge is kinda all over the place and then doesn't transition well back into the ending chorus and it kinda ends suddenly...but the video was fun

compliment sandwich :)

Urrrghh. Sounds like crappy British indie-style music has infiltrated the US. Have fun.

Love this song and this band! Good work!

Sloth7 03/16/10 02:35 PM

I like it, I don't absolutely love it, but anything that former members of The Chariot do, I'm all for. They actually had a demo song on their MySpace a year or two ago that was really catchy, but I don't think it ever saw the light of day on a release.

Honestly, I could never fully get into this band, I wasn't a huge fan of the dancey-esuqe stuff they had before.
I am, however, extremely excited for this new release, if this is what the songs are sounding like. I really like this song/video.

wouldn't that be a complaint sandwich?

/splitting hairs.

Good song and video, but the frames move too fast and it hurts my eyes. Is that just me?

MarkyMark1984 03/16/10 09:13 PM

Pretty sweet video... i dig! Will get the album 3/23!

Jamos4184 03/16/10 09:30 PM

Still weird to me that this is where Dan and Jake went, musically, from The Chariot. Not saying it's bad, it's just kind of a weird change.

says the guy whos username is an Editors reference.

rushour144 03/16/10 10:30 PM

Yea this is one of my new favorite bands!!! The Chariot are one of my all time favorite bands and the Fiancee was my favorite Chariot album, so to see 2 dudes from that album do this was shocking but really good. They have something good going for them, and the video was awesome!

Can't wait till next tuesday.

Editors (before their latest album) don't have that indie sound though. Or the overpronounced cockney accents. Or choppy high guitar parts. Or lyrics about ridiculously trivial things. I'd class them more as pop-rock.
