Who?

Formerly named Currents, My Arcadia has been continuously playing shows in the NJ/NY region. Armed with their new lead singer, Jacqui Sandell, the band has become one of Purevolume's Top 20 Unsigned Bands of 2009 and has opened for bands such as Silverstein, Madina Lake, and Life On Repeat.

How is it?

The band's latest EP,City By the Sea, was recorded by Paul Leavitt (All Time Low, Senses Fail). Musically, the band sounds very well put together with some great guitar work from Mike Costello and Alex Cahill. Sandell's vocals flow easily with the music, especially on the explosive choruses for "Letters From Home" and "Lulea (City By the Sea)." The EP features very intriguing lyrics from Sandell. Overall, My Arcadia's latest EP showcases some great talent from a promising band.
