Edit: Manually searched for their profile, and Holy SHITT this song is fucking amazing. Riffs, drums, vocals--everything's amazing. |
Love this.
Can this album just come out already? |
Sounds exactly like their old stuff. Progression is not their strong suit. Still pretty solid though.

Will check out once class ends. Stoked for this album.

Sounds good. New album might be a bit more varied.

amazing song from an amazing album.
Oooo, this sounds great. It does sound like their older stuff, but if it kicked ass then, why change it?
Love This Band!
I love the sound of the song, but "as I sink into my waterbed"? Really?
Edit: Did he just say "we will watch, with suntan lotion"? Wtf? |
Lyrics have never been their strong suit.

This is proboly my favorite new song so far , the man's voice is just amazing
This is pretty great, but not very different from their previous album.
Who cares if it sounds the same as their last album.
At least they didn't sell out and turn mainstream/poppy like Saosin did with ISOSG. Sometimes not changing, doesn't hurt, ie Story of the Year |
Music = good. Vocals = good. Lyrics = horrendous.
Wow, I've seen the name tossed around here and there but had never listened before. It does sound Saosinish doesn't it.
I am reviewing this album for another site. It really is a great album.
Love this band so much. Can't wait to hear Teenage Fantasy

Saosin still did this sound better. S/t>>>Great White Whale>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ISOSG EDIT: Shit meant to quote someone else! But I agree with you on the lyric front. |

Also, I find them to be much better than Saosin, but yes, the style of music is similar.

Thank you. And to all you people who say Saosin does this better, I actually disagree. Secret and Whisper have a different sound and are on their own planet with it, I would say. They're faster and more melodic and ambient. As for you lyric-haters, sometimes simple lyrics are just as effective as eloquent ones with flowery language. I admire Adam Young (Owl City) for his simplicity and limericky cleverness just as much as I admire Kevin Matisyn (Evans Blue, Parabelle) for his eloquence and emotional depth. |
Sounds great. I'm so excited for this record.

Can we stop with the saosin comparisons
Great White Whale pt.2, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
I'm so excited for this album, this song is awesome, as are all the other released songs so far.
Saosin w/Ant > Secret & Whisper > Saosin w/Cove > Stutterwho?
Definitely my favorite song of the ones I've heard so far. Yeah the lyrics are strange on this one, but for me their appeal is in the music and the awesome vocals. Charles can belt!
Sooo damn good.
stoked for this album!

I think I like Secret & Whisper a lot better than Saosin. Its a bit more imaginative and creative (hence the peculiar lyrics) Just sayn...
