Why does my state get Taproot? I'd much rather see BTBAM. Hmm...while I'm not a huge fan of Otep, the poetry reading sounds interesting. This is neat.

thecomedown 04/09/10 01:46 PM

i might stop by to see adtr, but probably won't get anywhere near the place.

mickmadethelist 04/09/10 01:48 PM

This year is looking pretty good. Tim from Rise Against will be at reckless records in Chicago as well.

Taproot's from Ann Arbor, so that's probably why.

better than nothing. Cali doesn't get shit :-(

Sloth7 04/09/10 01:57 PM

If Victory really wants to get people excited, put Tony Brummel in a dunk tank at a location.

I could see the poetry reading being neat. Not really a fan of their music, but the band puts on an interesting live show. Their bassist is a really nice dude as well. Here's a video I took when I saw them last summer with an odd little poem-like thing at the beginning:

Otep poetry reading? This makes me lol.

The Beatles are also releasing a limited edition "Paperback Writer" vinyl.

Is anything sick for this year happening in Southern California? I'm actually going to be in LA this year.

Everybody's is the best, I usually go there. And i'm kidding, I'll probably be at shake-it right when they open. I plan on dropping so much money on record store day....

Whereisreggie 04/09/10 05:58 PM

WTF @ Emmure in Hawaii. Do they even know where it is?

war_allthetime 04/09/10 06:06 PM

I thought Silverstein wasn't on Victory anymore?

LessThan3 04/09/10 09:26 PM

Sooo, Taproot's coming here. I've never heard of them before, I'll check them out and probably head out to see them when they come!
