Hahahaha My Chemical Romance is not good live. It's so rehearsed. It's basically a scripted show to get pre-teen girls to yell "fuck" back and forth with the band. "When I say fuck, you say you, 'fuck, you, fuck, you'". Lame. And they don't sound that great either.

that's not a bad list at all. Radiohead are phenomenal live, as are my morning jacket. MMJ's jams are amazing. Green Day also puts on a really great show.
i disagree about MCR being so high on the list, but i still enjoy them the mars volta is so kickass live. against me! is the reason i went to warped tour. i'm not really complaining about this, good work Spin. |

They aren't underground or anything like that, Spin knows both bands well. |
my chemical romance is on there... what the hell, they are appauling live.
what about killswitch? they are one of the best live bands i've ever seen... watch the DVD... it is incredible. there are so many better live bands than this.... A Perfect Circle, Tool, Killswitch, Dillenger, Metallica... there are tons |

My Chemical Romance is one of the bands that I least enjoyed live. And any list like this is so subjective, but hot rod circuit own my soul live. And as far as more mainstrem bands, I thought that Foo Fighters were better than a lot of bands on this list when I saw them. Oh well.

Anything featuring Tim Kasher should be top 25. Seriously. I saw one of the rare Good Life sets 2 years ago and I was completely blown away. Nobody performs with more emotion or passion than Mr. Kasher. However, I've heard from at least 30 different people (many of whose opinions I trust and respect) that U2 is absolutely phenomenal live. Even if you don't like them I've been told you go away impressed. |
apparently they've never seen Killswitch Engage live. the End of Heartache gives me chills every time i see it.
