as much as i don't really like modern hip-hop in general, this is actually just really fucking good.
my first thought when i heard airplanes was, "oh no! hayley williams is selling out!" but then i reconsidered that that was just a stupid statement. :zip: |
if there's any reason to hype an album, it's rivers cuomo

Album is great. Favourites are Airplanes Part 2, Ghost in the Machine and The Kids, but the rest of the album is also incredibly good.

This is a really good album. I find it very solid and smooth throughout. I enjoy both the pop aspect and the hip hop aspect of it. Call it 'white mans hip hop' if you want, thats what my friend called it anyway but regardless....it is a solid release and i very much do enjoy it.

such a good solid record. no filler in my opinion. and b.o.b. crossover appeal is so good. he can do it all!

Really digging this. No bling, no gangsta, no autotune, no gimmicks. Just hip-hop with great pop hooks.
|
It's okay, Wale, Cudi, and Drake are way better as far as freshman rappers go.

There's an interesting blend of sounds on this, but I like it a lot. "Airplanes" (both versions), "Nothin' on You", "Magic", and "The Kids" have to be my favorites. Only song I can say nothing good about is "Bet I".
