I'll probably check this out

Hype is well deserved. Great debut record, great guest stars, and few bad songs. I would say he's got room to improve, but I won't be surprised if he can get 4 or so hit singles from this record.

people really need to check out his mixtapes. Especially B.O.B. vs Bobby Ray. While So Far Gone got all of the attention, this was the best mixtape of the year

only song I dislike is Bet I...just not for me

Me too. Didn't like Bet I at all at first, but it's grown on me a ton. Solid review.

I don't get the big deal behind this.

I'm extremely selective when it comes to this genre. But after reading this review and checkin out a few songs, my interest is piqued. I may pick this up.

But i dig b.o.b

I really like this album

phillipjacob 05/09/10 01:15 AM

for a debut album this is fucking good.

his lyrics remind me of outkast in a sense

simplejack 05/09/10 02:23 AM

the simple fact that he employed artists outside of the hip-hop scene too, and he tried not only to rap but to actually sing (without autotune) makes him more respectable and enjoyable for me

way to reference XXL magazines 2010 list. I'm talking about the recent debut albums in hip hop

Gotcha Drew and I did reference xxl, is that bad? Shouldn't you reference something to back your statement up?
Anyhow, if you're talking about debut albums, then it makes more sense and plus, I feel like Wale and Cudi have been on the freshmen list for the past 2-3 years and that's why I'm confuse when people mention them as part of the freshmen of hip hop. I guess I just don't know what I'm talking about anymore.

And don't tell me you reference GQ magazine now haha okay, no, nvm.
