Should we expect an auto-tuned, dancier side project from the Grizzly Bear camp?

If anyone was to do it, it would be them. But with that being said, I hope they stick with just doing Grizzly Bear. I need more Grizzly Bear ASAP and they are too good to do something along the lines of that.

i have to agree with you. my roommate and i both couldn't make it more than a few songs into their album without turning it off from sheer boredom. i wouldn't normally post here just to complain about them, but i feel like you need some moral support due to the outraged hipsters about to come at you, haha

Guy from Vampire Weekend was in Discovery and they use auto tune and it is awesome. No problem here.

Haha thanks for the moral support. I feel the same way towards them. They're obviously not even close to the worst band out there, but I just get bored listening. And I do enjoy a lot of other hyped hipster shit, but they just don't do it for me.

They're definitely not bad, but certainly a tad boring. Veckatimest was solid overall, but if I listen at work, it makes me sleepy.

The only artists that have used autotune in a creative way are Imogen Heap and Bon Iver. I'm not a big fan of these guys, so I can't say how I'll feel about this side project.

I'm a total Grizz fan girl. I think everything they touch is gold. And I am definitely interested in Samantha, lol. That being said I always thought it was a joke between Ed & Chris Bear and they never actually had any songs, but I'd love to hear some!
