Lil Jon's Sales to Get Low?

Lil Jon's first album in almost 6 years, Crunk Rock, is streaming on Billboard.com. The new record, due out June 8 on Universal Republic, features guest spots from Ice Cube, Soulja Boy, R. Kelly, Damian Marley, LMFAO, 3OH3!, and Whole Wheat Bread, among others.

xcloud66x 06/05/10 07:17 PM

its got a couple decent songs on it, but the majority is shit as to be expected

Ari Christos 06/05/10 07:18 PM

Alexx Miller 06/05/10 07:19 PM

I find it interesting to see the variety of collaborations, from old school to new school, and everything in between.

I've only listened to a couple of songs so far though. Seems okay, but not earth-shattering.

Mochem 06/05/10 07:22 PM

Whole Wheat Bread? Interesting...

they're the only good guest spot haha.

Richard Maxim 06/05/10 08:12 PM

This guy is a talentless hack, all his albums were always flooded with guest appearances cause the man has no talent himself.

All of his beats are just a synth line, then that same synth line played an octave higher haha.

Sarcasm 06/05/10 08:26 PM

Ice Cube? I don't see why he would get on a Lil Jon track.

Nothing's weird about Whole Wheat Bread, but c'mon when was the last time anybody mentioned the words "whole wheat bread" in a non breakfast/panini context?

Debut_Fin 06/05/10 08:46 PM

Probably the songs I'm most excited to listen to. If I can get stupid Billboard to load, of course.

Loving most of the new 3OH!3 stuff. Not a huge LMFAO fan but I love this song.

For sure.

Hmmm, it was an interesting listen. I can't say I made it all the way through though haha.

BrokencydeRules 06/05/10 09:04 PM

Lil jon should seriously be respected more- he is an incredible revolutionary for music, and he created crunk which is the awesomest genre in like the past 20 years.

emopunkfan 06/05/10 09:05 PM

horrible promotion

I don't know why I clicked that link. I knew something bad was on the other end. I knew it. But I clicked and listened anyway :-(

sooperdoodey 06/05/10 09:48 PM

I liked it.

superBMRuth 06/05/10 09:58 PM

the song with Whole Wheat Bread, Ice Cube, The Game and Elephant Man is the ONLY track that can even be considered "crunk rock" on the entire album. The rest is just club/party music like every other mainstream rapper has been flooding the market with lately (Luda, for shame). I'll pass.

bandnamexmyname 06/05/10 10:01 PM

I hope to god for all that is old-school crunk that lil Jon didn't initiate the soulja boy collab.

abusedcat 06/05/10 10:09 PM

Didn't he release the first single from this like, 4 years ago?

SkyEatsADAM 06/05/10 11:32 PM
