Mansions Part Ways With Doghouse
 

Mansions has parted ways with Doghouse Records.

I wonder if he is going to self-release his music now. Doghouse is still my favorite house because of Weatherbox. I wish him the best - Get out to Minneapolis sometime.

This happened a while ago. Hopefully Nolan takes him on tour with TBS and a solid label signs Chris. His music is just too good.

People need to go buy something from this guy, his music is the most honest thing I have heard in a while and he is an amazing talent thats on the verge of having to stop since hes making about NOTHING money wise. I have bought every album and shirt from him. I hope some users on this site can do the same.

That's weird that he wanted to leave Doghouse seems like such a good label.

It really seems like doghouse wasn't doing much for Weatherbox or Mansions for the past year or so. Shame since they're the best artists they have.

Does anyone know if Sal is still drumming with Mansions? Whoever said them touring with TBS is right. When John brought them on tour with him it seemed like they genuinely enjoyed touring together. Cannot wait for new stuff! Big fan of Chris' writing style.

He wasn't really lying when he talked to me cause he never denied the news about getting dropped when I talked to him and he did say he plans to release the new album one way or another. Im just worried that he wont find a home and he will end up doing what Lydia did.. release an album and maybe do a small farewell tour.


Both bands have not made much money for Doghouse and It is true that they are both amazingly stellar artists but Doghouse is still a business. Its a sad day when millions of people still buy good charlotte and american idol crap but not great bands like Weatherbox or Mansions.

Chris always released demos and such, I am sure we would just have to search for it online a little while after the new record comes out. I would be stoked if he did a best of the bee sides part two with all the tunes or demos for the new stuff. I just hope the man releases the album soon with a sweet pre order deal!! Ill buy that shit ASAP.

I would sign a petition for them to tour with TBS. I think would could get a surprising amount of people to sign it.
