we had Kid Cudi lined up but the administration reviewed his lyrics and deemed them unsuitable.

well after freshmen year and slightly stoopid they decided to review the content of the artists music.

think slightly stoopid saying "we just smoked so much weed in our tour bus" caught the admins attention.

but then the next year common pulled a student up on stage and dry humped her so then the admins became really strict about the artists that performed

We've had Cassino, Kevin Devine, Ace Enders, and a few others but they do a horrendous job promoting the shows here.

LOL, Black Bear. Food there is decent for what it is. Place gets so ghetto though.

Yeah, we got Stephen Lynch, Rockapella, and Wayne Brady. That's the big downside to small schools...shitty concerts. The student government chose Wayne Brady over Colbert...

Better than going to a Canadian school and getting shitty Canadian bands like Mariana's Trench and Hedley.

We've had other significantly less shitty acts like Hey Rosetta! and Arkells but those two listed above have been our "big" back-to-school concert headliners.

S/T 02/01/12 05:11 PM

Isn't Mariana's Trench pretty popular up there? Maybe among idiots, I don't know, but in general I was under the impression they were pretty popular.

We've had Weezer, The Roots, Jay-Z, Cudi a couple times, Drake for the second time coming up pretty soon, probably a couple other good ones. Third Eye Blind now that I think about it. Augustana/Steel Train/Dashboard were on one bill. How many of all your campus shows were free? Most of ours were, save a few, but those were usually discounted for students. Jay-Z sold publicly and to students and played in Ohio State's basketball arena/event center but student tickets were only like 20 bucks or less.
