Mike's on the hunt for scene points

I found out about this band after they broke up. Wish I could have seen a show, I think I did see Travis play acoustic with ROTY way back in 2006, after every one in Terminal quit in the middle of a tour.

this band fucking ruled.

aradiantsunrise 09/29/10 01:03 PM

One of my favorite albums ever.

terminal is always in constant rotation for me.
i've always thought how the lonely keep was such an underrated record

and what makes it so memorable is it's a full album
not just a few good songs.

according to the guys in oh, sleeper Travis was the last on board for their reunion show. he demanded more and more money until it was finally substantial enough for him to play. They also believe he wrote the album way out of his range and their live show suffered because of it. I love that band a lot and would love to see them come back but, after talking to their other members about a reunion, it doesn't seem likely. RIP Terminal, excellent memory and a great memory album.

lol, i don't care to see bands live so I don't care if it's out of their range. If the album sounds amazing that's all that matters. If he's a jerk though then he sucks, but artsy guys are strange fellows. btw, the guitarists are what made Terminal great, they made the music in which Bryant sang over

i agree. i went through a break up when i was 18 and this album helped me through that in a sense. now, being 23 and going through the same situation at the moment, i can still put this album on play and get lost in the music/lyrics. such a meaningful album to me personally. on another note, i do absolutely love Oh Sleeper and can't wait to hear more from them.

Justlistened to that album the other day. Love it.

Just got into these guys recently, the amount of passion they put into each song was amazing. I really wish there were more bands like Terminal.

I still listen to Alive in Wild Paint, Oh Sleeper and Goodbyetomorrow often, but none of them have come close to Terminal's music. Great weekly nostalgia subject.

would kill babies for another terminal record

my username. yep.

so in love with this album, and still listen to it on a regular basis. i still like travis bryant, but it's just not the same.

Romancebled 09/29/10 04:18 PM

This is one of my favorite albums of all time. Lots of memories with it.

I finally met Travis a few months ago in SF when he filled in for Analog Rebellion, and he was one of the nicest dudes ever.

i bought this album on a whim when I was 15... can honestly say that was one of the best purchases I've ever made.

Oh, and "City By The Sea" for the win.
