Why should others not be allowed to comment on better or worse bands if they do not agree that this one is good?

This band, as of right now, is not good. There is minimal creativity in their debut, maximum repetition, every common trend (pop synth chorus mixed with screams, strict palm mute breakdowns) among bad bands are present. They are a mere rehash of everything the scene loves right now.

Yes alot of bands are doing it but IMO AA is basically the best ones doing it in general i just dont like when ppl are saying these guys suck when they arent a fan of any band apart of this trend atleast you had a reason for not liking them by saying they arent creative.i just find them to be incredible because i can relate to most they're lyrics and instrumentally what i like to hear

I understand what your saying. I never said they SUCK. I just do not find them musically appealing, therefore I chose not to listen. As you said, I have an explanation for my opinion as you have one for your own opinion. I simply don't understand the hype.

I'm a fan of MANY bands in this "genre," as you put it, and in no way is Asking Alexandria the best. They're not even the best from the UK. They're like the Limp Bizkit of the Metalcore era, but they don't even have a "Nookie" - guilty pleasure song. At least BMTH has "Diamonda Aren't Forever" and their whole new album.

voncorn 12/04/10 05:33 PM

One of the worst bands in existence.

Hahahahahaha. You actually think that's a real genre? Dude, please do yourself a favor and start listening to real good heavy bands.

You provide the lulz, but you're not a troll. You're serious. Probably the best part.

This band writes shitty metalcore. And no, they are not one of the best metalcore bands. They're not even one of the best new metalcore bands.

Haha, this.

The Kevin Lyman quote is another proof this man is now really interested with money...

I'mOnAHorse 12/04/10 05:59 PM

Someone say brocore?

StepsInADance 12/04/10 06:32 PM

it's so sad that shitty bands like this are getting such recognition
These guys are definitely some of the biggest pieces of trash ever (both musically and personally) I honestly can't think of any band that deserves what they have less than them

DylanPPPP 12/04/10 06:34 PM

I was going to read this, then I saw the font colors.

I'd rather not kill my eyes for a band that I don't really care about.
