That's what you get for trying to capitalize as much as possible on a band breakup.

This is.

But seriously, if someone having an honest opinion about a band is the reason why they break up, then they shouldn't be a band in the first place. If one person is gonna break their heart that much, clearly they can't handle it.

I'm so disappointed in this. I remember when they lost the laptop with all of the Assailants songs.

Yeah, you'd think after being bitten once, you'd learn to back your files up.

I love you.

I'm sorry, but I can't see a Lydia DVD being that entertaining. I was at one of their farewell shows and it was unbelievably monotonous. I had such high expectations and they definitely did not meet them.

thats cause what you saw wasnt lydia anymore. i grew up with these kids, and losing all the data for the dvd is status quo. they just need to let lydia go and move on.

How did this happen?

I kinda saw something like this coming since they hadn't really mentioned much about it in the past few months. I figured they had just dropped the idea or something, but this is pretty unprofessional.

A+ title.

Cost of DVD production - $
Cost of cocaine habit - $$$$$

Also, everyone praising Mindy as a critical part of their live show is just wrong. I can respect her as a vocalist and musician, but all she did was sit there the two times I saw them live. Definitely not a make-or-breaker.

After seeing them live 6 or 7 times prior to the final tour, I'd grown used to her presence (as well as the other previous members). For me, waiting to hear Mindy chime in on songs like "This Is Twice Now" and "It's In Your Blood" only to hear her part being skipped over entirely was what made me realize how critical she was in their live sets. I mean, seeing a "band" of people I don't recognize playing and singing the parts of those who were once Lydia was a downer. And Lydia wasn't exactly a jump-around-and-dance kind of band - you don't have to be all over the place on stage to be a critical part of a live show. There was only so much she could do behind a keyboard, and she did it all well.
