Awesome, Reznor's making bank and some sick songs to go along with it

I think he's found his next career! Also, TSN is out Tuesday! So stoked.
trent, please stop working on movies I might not want to watch otherwise.
the soundtrack on the social network was great. |
excellent!
Awesome news

was just watching The Social Network today and loved Reznor's score.
in my mind the books were traditionally scored. well see how this is
Cooooooooool.
I hope Atticus Ross is involved again... his score of The Book of Eli was incredible
Adore this book, don't think the American movie will be good. But Trent should produce some more good music, so I'm excited about that.

He is. |
i know he's said he's interested in branching out into orchestral which would be great, but if not that, doing something like a philip glass/minimalist score? he could totally pull that off.
I enjoyed the book, but found it to be a hard read at points. I'm looking forward to Fincher's adaptation and yet another stellar score from Mr. Reznor.
Edit: Wonder if Atticus Ross will be involved again, as well. |

Trent, god bless you and the things you do.
So very excited.
His work on Social Network...just stunning. |
the original film was terrific, this americanized version will likely be mediocre at best, but at least the directing and score will be great! :-)
Pretty sweet news.

How do you figure? They have the guy that wrote the screenplays for Gangs of New York and Schindler's List, and with Fincher directing I don't see this as a potential let-down. Also, I think a good example of how an "Americanized" version can work is Let Me In, and people were so ready to hate it. |
My parents will be stoked. They loved this book.
