Trent Reznor will reteam with David Fincher on The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

Yes, but they were swedish made. These films are the american adaptation of the novels.

I think he's found his next career! Also, TSN is out Tuesday! So stoked.

whiterussian 01/08/11 04:49 PM

was just watching The Social Network today and loved Reznor's score.

ctmk 01/08/11 05:48 PM

in my mind the books were traditionally scored. well see how this is

danielineffigy 01/08/11 05:59 PM

Cooooooooool.

tht1guyb 01/08/11 06:06 PM

I hope Atticus Ross is involved again... his score of The Book of Eli was incredible

Jukebox Romeo 01/08/11 06:09 PM

Adore this book, don't think the American movie will be good. But Trent should produce some more good music, so I'm excited about that.

He is.

skellorock 01/08/11 06:47 PM

i know he's said he's interested in branching out into orchestral which would be great, but if not that, doing something like a philip glass/minimalist score? he could totally pull that off.

AFSjulian 01/08/11 07:12 PM

I enjoyed the book, but found it to be a hard read at points. I'm looking forward to Fincher's adaptation and yet another stellar score from Mr. Reznor.

Edit: Wonder if Atticus Ross will be involved again, as well.

Trent, god bless you and the things you do.

AdamChildress 01/08/11 10:04 PM

So very excited.

His work on Social Network...just stunning.

iam1bearcat 01/09/11 07:50 AM

the original film was terrific, this americanized version will likely be mediocre at best, but at least the directing and score will be great! :-)

*crying stars* 01/09/11 10:28 AM

Pretty sweet news.

How do you figure? They have the guy that wrote the screenplays for Gangs of New York and Schindler's List, and with Fincher directing I don't see this as a potential let-down. Also, I think a good example of how an "Americanized" version can work is Let Me In, and people were so ready to hate it.

Ashur 01/09/11 08:05 PM

My parents will be stoked. They loved this book.
