Weezer's blue album dbags. thanks rolling stone, for continuing to suck.

The suckage that Weezer has become is more than enough to negate any positive influence that album had.

This is seriously one of the most close-minded lists ever.

agreed 100%. I know this might upset some, and I love Nirvana... but I don't think it should be no. 1.

Kick out U2 and Oasis

It definitely should be #1 but not because it's the best album per se. It is easily the most influential album of the 90s and Nirvana is easily the most influential rock band of the 90s.

this...and how could dookie be left out? from what i've heard, it was a big deal.

For the most part, I do agree with this list. Except the only thing I would add would be Green Day's album, Dookie. As stated before, it is a predictable list.

troubledbyinsects 02/17/11 05:22 PM

this list sucks.

GAH! THANK YOU! I live in Seattle, and can not stand grunge. I of course don't deny the influence and how huge it was back then, but no more, please...

BornUnderPunches 02/17/11 05:27 PM

Predictable list. Predictable thread

tcemoo 02/17/11 05:28 PM

Nothing I didn't expect to see on this list. Not that I agree with any of the selections (except Morning Glory), there's absolutely nothing new stated on this list. People have been listing the same 12 albums as the "Best of the 90s" for the last 11 years.
