Best video I've seen in a long while. The song and the visuals fit together and are quite amazing. It was nice to see Patrick infused into the world of these people talents, "Being their own spotlight drawing our attention".
I'm not really a fan of his solo sound so far, but he seems to be having fun. I've enjoyed both versions of Spotlight I guess, but Truant Wave really hasn't done much for me. This song and video though should get him some major attention. It's a feel good video and song and people need a little of that. |

This song has really grown on me, though I always preferred this over the New Regrets version. I'm still not a fan of the lyrics, but I do like the sentiment. And I really enjoyed the video. Patrick cracking up was adorable.

I like this song but don't love this video. Super funny when Patrick starts laughing at the little girl belly dancing - but I don't want to wait 1:59 minutes to start seeing the good parts of this video.
Also, when he's singing, I don't like that his head is constantly tilted slightly upward at a weird angle. I know that's picky but I wish the director had instructed Patrick to either keep his face at eye level or directly at level with the camera. |
