My Pulp Romance

Listen to My Chemical Romance cover Pulp's "Common People" on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge here.

Metal Now 03/31/11 05:49 AM

It's good because the original is good.

I never understood why Pulp or this song was so huge.

I like MCR but, William Shatner's cover of this song is the best, it's just far more epic. Give it a listen if you haven't, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

First, have you ever listened to Pulp? Second, do you live in the UK? Third, are you familiar with the legend Jarvis Cocker? Fourth, were you in college from 94-98?

Now, go listen to "Trees" by Pulp and enjoy.

WHHHYYYYYYYYY

mcr has quite the reputation for touching songs that they should never be even thinking about covering.
