Rumors have it Myspace is about to be sold for between $20-30 million.

What company is crazy enough to put money into this?

What will this be used for in the future.

Social networking: FB and Twitter

Music: bandcamp, facebook, soundcloud, purevolume, Tumblr - all of which have more userfriendly music players.

Cut the losses and axe the site completely.

Wow, that's such a small amount of money. Crazy to think how fast things fall.

myspace is worth that much money still? lol

I hope nobody pays that much for it. The new music interface is completely atrocious and whoever designed that needs the axe ASAP.

It's depressing what a resource it was less than three years ago.

It's amazing. For ever I was like..."well Myspace is awful but I still use it in a music-listening capacity." But now it doesn't even have that going for it, and it's layout is so fucking atrocious.

Someone once said that it's like Facebook, but with herpes.

There are plans set in place to pitch the "re-vamped" layouts already, that I can assure you.

I discovered a lot of bands during my college years pretty much exclusively using Myspace.
