Huh? What stores do you go to? I know that FYE and some local music stores carry HWM.

Hastings? Most stores have had to cut down their music stock, but I always find Rise stuff on their shelves.

A bit surprising but if Rise can help the band get their new album out there, then that's a good thing.

It's just surprising to me. The Bled and This Is Hell were unexpected signings but in the end they weren't all THAT unusual. This one really took me by surprise though. Either way, it's not a big deal because as long as HWM have a label that'll treat them well and a means to release their music, then I'm happy.

exactly, i just hope rise gives them as much attention and promotion as the rest of the rise roster, regardless of whether i like those bands or not.

I'm sure they will. Craig is clearly a big HWM fan so I can see him and the rest of Rise's staff treating them well. So yeah, not sure why anyone would be seriously upset over this. Rise is a relatively well-known independent label, with good distribution to boot. So it's all good, far as I'm concerned.

I don't know why people are still on this, Rise Records doesn't have good bands kick. Sharks, Transit, and now Hot Water Music? Awesome. Congrats guys.
