These videos are spectacular! Love the piano on the tracks. Kevin continues to amaze me. I love how he can make a song as purely simple as him tapping his guitar, which then progresses into a more complicated chord progression. Sign of a great songwriter in my opinion.

i'm not a fan of the "saw you, saw me". it pales in comparison to something like 'tomorrows too late' or 'the burning city smoke'

it's a good catchy song though i guess.

"As for the style, I guess I'm trying on something different. I feel like each record's its own animal and this one I'm concentrating on succinctness - wrestling big ideas in straight language - and structure/melody. How the words feel sung. Hopefully it's a welcome shift."

That's what he had to say about the straight-forward lyrics. Personally, I don't mind it.

I must be the only one who really thought the chick singing brought the performance down. Just wasn't feeling it. Kevin's voice is so unique all it's own.

Between The Concrete and Clouds is a pretty catchy song and it seems to have find favor with me ever since I heard it a couple month ago. I have no doubt in Kevin's ability to wow us with his musical skills

Does Kevin Devine sleep? Seriously such a hard worker.

I had noticed this trend in the lyrics to the new album. I like it, and I'm definitely glad he's doing it on purpose.

Totally this.

"I used to be someone" sounds like it would be a great closer to the album, and I wouldn't be mad if he released an album with just this girl and him.
