Really catchy song. I like it.

Not their worst song

Love this song. Sounds like that could've been on the self titled back in the day. You know, if they didn't hate their dad.
Is it just me, or is this a different mix to the one used on the album? |
love this song. can't believe haters who make an issue out of the title. thats just

Taking a song title? Oh yes, because it's crazy to think a song that takes place IN 1979 shouldn't be allowed to be called that. |
Sounds like a throwback to the S/T days... not bad but i miss the TYAH/The Chronicles era.

it's funny how Benji & Joel look like total street urchins now, even though they mix with Hollywood b-listers. I guess they gotta convince the kids on sites like ap.net that they're hardcore punkers, despite all the evidence to the contrary.
edit: Is it just me of do they look like half-bit versions of Everlast in the video? |
Bruce Springsteen, Madonna
Way before Nirvana There was U2 and Blondie And music still on MTV Her two kids in high school They tell her that she’s uncool Cause she's still preoccupied With 19, 19, 1985 ... Love that song. This, I don't much care for. It feels kind of bland. |

i remember when i used to be able to tell the twins apart. when did joel get covered in tattoos?

Loved the video. This is one of my favorite songs. Anyone who has been following the band since the beginning and knows the story behind the lyrics, will know how special this song is.
And if you're not a fan, you will probably leave a comment complaining about something as silly as a song title. BLA BLA BLA. (btw: it's not a random title, the twins were born in 1979). ![]() |
