POZ Launches "Playlist" Featurette
 

Property of Zack has launched a new feature on their website called, fittingly, "Playlist." The idea is to get bands to fill out some playlists of what they're listening to - then put all those songs together on the free music player of spotify. The first batch is up now from Thrice's "Major/Minor" tour partners O’Brother, Moving Mountains, La Dispute, and Thrice themselves.

i used to have a radio show where i was going to do this. i got the singer from now now, and soupy was going to make a playlist but he flaked out

This is a clever use of Spotify. I'll have to come up with a unique way of doing this for MEB. Maybe I'll call it Listplay...

I think it's sort of different, in a way. We're going to try to have some really influential people on ours, and downloading full records is sort of the thing there. It's definitely odd timing, though. Zack and I laughed when we found out we were debuting these the same week.
