Sunrise is my favorite on the album at the moment.

I enjoyed this record but 9/10 is a little high. This is a step up from culdesac but it is not quite as solid as the EP. I feel like if he took about half the songs from Camp and the songs from the EP and made an LP out of that, he would have made an amazing album. Still a great debut and some of the songs like Bonfire, Heartbeat, and backpackers shows CG at his best but other songs feel like filler to me. Either way I'll be spinning this and Winter Forever all day!

Been enjoying the album more and more with each listen. Good review.

Really enjoying this album, it'll definitely go down in my top five, if not top three, of 2011.

So basically what you've said here is that you only like the songs where he goes hard, not the slower or softer R&B/singing songs -- which is fine. But you're off base saying that they're filler, they're just not what you wanted to hear.

This rivals Astronautalis for best rap album of the year. Great review Drew.

This album is smart, personal, and entertaining. I like that he can be fun and ignorant then turn around and drop a reference only 3 people will get in a packed room.

Currently one of the best artists out today.

Those aren't the ONLY songs I liked just the stand outs for me. I just feel like he wrote some better on the EP. I still think this is one of the best rap albums this year but it's not perfect.

Really I just wanted to use that. I tried to look for a negative post to respond to with this but it's impossible to find one haha.

Yeah, everyone here seems to at least like him as an actor or a musician. Not necessarily both, but usually at least one.

AP has a mad boner for this dude. The maddest of the mad-hatted boners. Weird.

I think that a lot of it comes from being able to empathize with his lyrics a lot more than "typical" rap. Insecurity, not fitting in, girl problems... those are a lot more easy to relate to than Rick Ross "Yo I'm riding in this Murder-cedes Benz."

And also,

True true. Or it's because he's the only rap most AP readers are being exposed to save for drake, odd future (not anymore), doomtree and kanye - for the most part. I don't think he's bad by any means, I actually like him, but I think there's better stuff out there.

Haha, funny, but doesn't make sense. I think CG has more gifs than any other person alive.
