Drake is not hip hop, he's r& b.

Not happy that Mac Miller has the number one album in the country. This will make up for it.

"you cannot match my wu-tang sword style"

Holly HoX! 11/17/11 10:29 AM

Still think Nov 18th is one of Drake's best songs.

Drake.

I don't usually make comments on AP but I think any statement that starts with "I don't usually" can be ignored.

"While half of the critics claim it every year: "Hip hop's over."
**** YOU, hip hop just started
It's funny how the most nostalgic cats are the ones who were never part of it"

It's just mediocre lyrical, witty hip-hop. Nothing spectacular. There are better rappers you could check out if you want to get into more rap.

Aside from that, I dont understand these questions at all....have you ever heard of Google or YouTube. It's not that hard.

MBIIdollaBill 11/17/11 12:26 PM

happy for donald, but its kinda sad aubrey will be outselling him by so much.

Dustin Harkins 11/17/11 12:33 PM

The only thing that disappoints me about this is that Drake's album will probably outsell my favorite hip-hop record of all time. It's odd what's acceptable to sell so many units these days.

haha yeah. i've only checked out one or two tracks from GCH, maybe i'll give the record a spin. but yeah i've been in a huuuuuuge hip-hop phase lately. too much good shit out there.
and the hip-hop community itself is just super entertaining. there's always something going on

Wrong. It's his commercial debut. So it's his first album.

Just like how Drake's first album is Thank Me Later, not So Far Gone.

No it's not, those are called free mix tapes.

Lol. So if you don't charge for it, it doesn't count? Good thing Radiohead had a physical release for In Rainbows.

"I Am Just a Rapper" is a mixtape. Sick Boi and Culdesac are albums.

Edit: forgot about Poindexter, so this is his fourth album.
