Groupon-like "daily deal" sites are all the rage right now, and a punk-rock themed one has popped up. Check it out for daily discounts on a bunch of punk-rock like items.

How did you find this site, whoever submitted it? This was the first posting in the sites history lol... doesn't seem ridiculously legit but I guess its cool?

AP probably got a press release from the company that's running the site. Would be a pretty shitty co. if they didn't announce their existence to potential customers.

Haha, yeah - they sent me a PR this morning. Right after I read this article about Groupon. Weird timing.

Yeah I read that earlier this week. I'm not surprised it's come down since the IPO but I'm certainly surprised it's come down that much.

All these daily deals sites suck. Yes, it can be a good deal for the consumer. It kills businesses though. Groupon is going to fail extremely quick. They owe business owners millions & millions of dollars they don't have. Feel sorry for all the fools who bought stock or businesses that fell for Groupon's scam.

kind of interesting...if it lasts

I was reading this article about how sites like Groupon are basically a fancy Ponzi scheme, it's actually kind of sad that they're cheating businesses out of money. I use Scoutmob more often, which doesn't make you pay anything to use the deals, which I find cool.
