The Used Release New Album in March on Hopeless

The Used's new album Vulnerable will be out March 27th on Hopeless Records.

Press ReleaseHopeless Records is excited to announce that we have partnered with The Used and their label, Anger Music Group to release their highly anticipated follow up to 2009’s Artwork.

“The Used are proud to announce the birth of Anger Music Group. Anger Music Group is an all inclusive art production company. We have teamed up with Hopeless Records for the release of our new record Vulnerable. We can't wait for you to hear it! Love, The Used”

The final touches are being made to the album which will be released in the Spring of 2012. Vulnerable will be the bands 5th studio album.

Vulnerable is the perfect title for this album... as I believed it was going to come out in Feb. Lets the pushbacks begin... so you in 2013 album.

I know this band gets shit on alot, but their last album was a pretty solid batch of dirty/grungy pop songs, and I dug it.

Other than Lies for the Liars I actually like this band. Excited for this but kind of suprised that it's being released on Hopeless. Good addition to an already solid label.

^This. They really were one of the biggest names in the genre, stop hatin'. They're better than 3/4 of the bands out there.

I Can't say their last albums were as great as their debut and second album but still i can always find 5-6 songs in each album that i like! And with music today that is a BIG DEAL! Even their B-sides album was awwesome!!!

Love this band. Always have. Can not wait for this. Great partnership IMO. Hopeless is doing huge things.

Hopeless is mostly handling distribution and marketing for the album.

I think Im the only person who loved Lies For The Liars haha only album i didnt care for was Artwork. Luckily they went back to Feldmann for this one and I'm fuckin pumped to hear new stuff. I have a feeling its gonna be good.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Matt Squire produced Artwork.

When this band isn't lame, they're pretty cool. Another potentially solid signing by Hopeless, they've been doing really well recently.

Honestly even though Artwork wasn't their best, they still have a pretty solid discography. Even that album had some decent tracks and I believe they can still produce a great new album. In Love & Death is my personal favorite.

I think In Love And Death and Shallow Believer (the digital b-side album) were the best they've done, but I love this band and generally like all their stuff a lot. In excited for this album.

never was a fan of this band. I saw them open for blink in 2004 and Bert was flopping around stage and his vocals sounded horrid.

In love and death is a classic as far as I'm concerned. The weird layered guitars and basslines on that album are really cool.

I love that most people agree "In Love and Death" is their best. "Lunacy Fringe" was my jam for a while and the B-sides album was great too. I just went back and listened too "Artwork" and "Lies For The Liars" because those were my least favorites but I really enjoyed LFTL, Artwork was the only album that really lacked for me, sounded very generic IMO, "On The Cross" was probably the only winner there for me.

Empty Without You was the only good thing about artwork in my opinion. I'll always hope they return to the sound of their first or second album
