I can't get over how much better they sound without the synth/keys.

The new record wasn't anything close to what they could've made.

Yeah. Probably won't so much these days now that they have more material.

that and honestly the crowd was a lot different than in previous years.

I'd love to hear a studio version of "One Step At A Time" played this way.

Last four songs are all acoustic, and this version of One Step At A Time is one of them.

No, only filmed for these two bands (because I was anticipating shooting FYS's full set but didn't end up doing so), but they were really good.

True, and they don't have Josh for the synth but here's a video where I saw it. It was their holiday show in '09.

Well, this makes me really sad.

Definitely the best place to see them.

I saw them there last year, with Josh. They gave my high school a shout-out, the bassist went there.

Weird. Last two times I saw them they played it. Which is fucking awesome because that's one of my favorites from them.

scormier2 01/02/12 08:33 PM

This was an awesome show. I will definitely be at the Worcester holiday show again next year.

you know, in a weird way i agree with you. idk what it is but i've gone from really likeing this back to having a pretty bad taste in my mouth when i think of them. I think I saw them back in 06 and loved everything but its clear that this whole "success" thing has gotten to their heads. I can only hope they get their shit together and go back to making music they want to make.

wish SYG played that same setlist on the NFG tour

Flight Of The Navigator is sooooooooo good

wheres the guy with long hair that played guitar on their recent tours?

Sound quality for SYG isn't that great because I was side stage, but it was too cool of an opportunity to pass up.

watched em side stage at warped tour this year & it was amazing, their drummers crazy good

stellaparkmike 01/03/12 07:44 AM

Holy shit that acoustic version is so good
