Hahaha contrary to popular belief, I do not hate pop-punk. In fact, I still listen to my old CDs whenever I'm on the highway.

Anyone notice how well the EP is selling on iTunes??? right now on Jan 4th, at 845pm they are #7.. thats trending to sell 38-41K albums... It has to hold steady but thats pretty solid for them.

Watched the show and then went over to there facebook to see if they said anything about the show. And saw they gained a crap ton of fans who watched that show. I think there fan base just grew in size and in age.

I don't think your math is that great. First of it's $4.95. 30,000-40,000 nickles adds up. Plus the 5th song is a cover song. Not sure how much they have to pay the original artist / writer.

Hopefully safe to say they can pull in $100,000. Split 4 ways = $25k each. For an EP they probably put months and months and months into making. For a band their size this is very very good but I hope you guys are seeing how hard it is to make money in the music business.

It's not like you write a couple songs and record them the next day and on the 3rd day the CD is released.
