Wark: What does the band name mean?

Seth: watashi wa means "i am" in japanese

Wark: What is being on Tooth and Nail like?

Seth: its very wonderful. its something that im very thankful for. brandon and chad and john and amanda and jim and everyone there are all amazing people...bless them.

Wark: What are your favorite songs to play live?

Seth: there is a song called "everything" thats always a great experience. i like playing "smoke signals" too and a song called "look". and we used to do a tears for fears cover the song "everybody wants to rule the world"...that one is fun.

Wark: What was is like touring with Copeland?

Seth: ha thats funny because im talking to james from copeland right now. it was an amazing privelege and blessing to meet those guys and spend 2 months of my life with them. they are truly great people...great friends..and a great band. i can't say enough about them. they are the most bro's....we love them and miss them so much. they are something special...i really mean that.

Wark: Who do you want to tour with?

Seth: the cure and U2 and when the police get back together with them.

Wark: What are your favorite bands, and what CD's are most looking forward to this year?

Seth: well i like the police alot and the cure and U2 as you might have guessed from the previous question. if you didnt..well now you can see the connection... i also am a big fan of alison krauss and green day and toad the wet sprocket and REM and the smashing pumkins and lots of others. as a band we all like sixteen horse power and woven hand, others like ours and pearl jam and everything from the dixie chicks to black eyed peas. i heard 2 rumors...i heard the cure is recording something and i heard that fiona apple might put out an album...i also am looking foward to the new mxpx album and the new alison krauss dvd.

Wark: What is the concept behind your album "The Love of Life" ?

Seth: its pretty simple really. its just an album about life. about what everyone can relate to about life. about good times and bad times...lessons learned...about love and about joy...about mistakes and accomplishments. about relationships...about times where you gotta stop and think and times where you just gotta dance. its about what makes up life and about how beautiful life is....

Wark: Any cool tour stories?

Seth: lots. one cool one...we stayed up all night in new york city one night...then the next day we got stuck in a snow storm ...we were leaving and rolled our van on the freeway. its pretty amazing because no one was hurt and we seriously should have died...it made us stop and think about how lucky we are for sure. life became a privelege in my mind after that. someone was watching out for us.

Wark:What are your goals as a band ?

we wanna make real music that people can relate to in a real way...and do it for a long time...we wanna make some people smile... we wanna make some friends..we wanna learn alot and grow alot...we wanna give away something to people that will last...

Wark: Anything else you'd like people to know about you? about me?

Seth: how about if anyone has any questions you can email me. thedancerevolution@hotmail.com... thanks.
