Fugazi, Botch, Jawbreaker, Silent Majority, Bear vs Shark, Dag Nasty, Kill Your Idols
Most of the bands that came to mind of either did something last year or have something planned for this year.

I know Crime in Stereo didn't break up all that long ago, but I love everything they've done and still want more.
I'd like the Matches to come back as well, even though I wasn't crazy about A Band In Hope.
Full Straylight line-up would be great.

a thread should be created to discuss the bands we wish would break up. There are so many out there that i dislike.

I agree

I am like 80% sure we'll get a new frontiers release this year.

New Frontiers, definitely. Got to see them twice, thank God.

saw them with about 10 other people in el paso, illinois. 5 of those other people were the members of socratic. felt bad there wasn't much of a crowd-- but both bands played great shows. nf gave me chills.

no way?! Are they back together? I know one of them is now playing with The Rocketboys and one did stuff with This Will Destroy You. Would love to hear new stuff.

Any word on what Number One Fan members are doing these days, Jason?

Agree with Midtown, Arnor for Sleep, and Name Taken.

ctmk 01/12/12 01:51 PM

PARK for the love of all that is good I need Lad.

I absolutely agree about Armor For Sleep. Anytime a song off of What to Do When You Are Dead comes across my radar, I'm hooked on that album for atleast a week. It would be awesome to see them again.

also, i'm legitimately excited for the new eve 6 record that's supposed to be out this year. horrorscope and it's all in your head got more than a few spins back in the day.

Midtown, Crime In Stereo, Something Corporate, The Movielife, and Northstar for me.

I realize The Movielife did their little reunion this past summer, but that wasn't enough. Same goes for Something Corporate. Seeing them again was such a tease.

I listen to Brightwood almost daily. Check their website for updates every now and then, but there never is anything. Thanks for the info.

Some of the guys from S&W formed Shreddy Kruger(horrible name) and I believe they are recording now. S&W will always be a solid listen. Good call.

Yeah. They released an acoustic album and Andrew is still writing, but he is also busy, like I said, with a kid and him and his wife started a company called Velour, so it might be some time before they get back to Brightwood, sadly. Hope i'm wrong, I haven't asked in some time about it. Just kinda let it be.
