"childish and invalid" is how I would describe a song that starts off calling someone a lascivious douche (does he know what lascivious means? it seems fairly arbitrary in this context)

both the new songs would be even better if they converted coby's vocals into gang vocals. i liked him on s/t but his high voice seems out of place on these new tracks. and plus, say anything songs sound great with gang vocals! :D

I don't know anything about this petty-sounding "feud" or whoever the song was written about, and really I don't give a shit.
All that I know is that I still to this day enjoy ...Is a Real Boy. I like some of the tracks on IDotG, and thought their self-titled was a piece of crap. I was curious in checking this track out because of the observant absolute rawness of Admit It!!! I'm afraid to say this song is just terrible on all levels. The lyrics reek of an angsty 15-year-old boy mad at somebody for absolutely no apparent reason (I don't care about the back story, it shouldn't matter to make a song enjoyable). It's even damn cringe-worthy at parts (the lame self-censoring, "crap rains down", Cody's awful singing, etc.) It's not even catchy, which is usually one of their best strengths. I feel Max Bemis is literally trying to write another ...Is a Real Boy, which is just such a misguided aspiration. |

Feel like he's trying too hard in this one. He's not really angry, he's just pretending to be for the IARB fans.

This thread is almost as shitty as the new Cobra Starship clip. Almost.

This song is like WHITE PEOPLE PROBLEMS writ large on the forehead of the statue of liberty

I'd just like to say Daryl Palumbo is an Oxycotin God and has better dance moves than Max Bemis.

Yeesh this song blows. And the first one they put out from this was so good. C'est la vie.
