Congrats to my buddies in Fisherking for making this comp, their cover rules.
Can't wait to hear the rest of this.

Any Descendents cover is a good Descendents cover. I'm sure there's a cover that proves otherwise, but...You get the idea.

Excited to listen to this! Especially Nightmares for a Week's take on "Silly Girl." More people need to check this band out.

I agreed with you until I heard the Hospital Garden cover of I'm Not A Punk.

That was a really rad cover.

And I don't know how Nightmares for a Week usually sounds, but it seems like they tried to hard to sound like the original song, even with the production.

Did they take it down already? Bummer.

elliottsmithfan 01/24/12 09:11 AM

They remind me a little bit of early Get Up Kids, but I could also liken them to Cheap Girl or Ninja Gun--but a bit more rockin'.

elliottsmithfan 01/24/12 10:21 AM

its back up!

PirateSkater182 01/24/12 11:33 AM

Not bad. I don't like all of the covers, but not bad.

Love The Descendents. I especially like The Tired and True's version of "I'm The One".
