Most Anticipated of 2012 (Reader Poll Results)
A few weeks ago the AP.net staff posted our "most anticipated of 2012" list. Then we asked you, the reader, to vote for your most anticipated of 2012 albums ... we tallied up all of the votes: and the results are in. After a lot of back and forth, Paramore ended up snagging the top spot - and we have 59 of your top picks following them! Check them all out here.

Surprised that the word alive is so far up the list. regardless, stoked for all the new music 2012 has in store
|
Jimmy Eat World and John Mayer ranked so low makes me a sad panda. Motion City Soundtrack at number six, however, makes me a happy panda.
What is The Word Alive, and how are they number 3? |
Never heard of The Word Alive. So excited to hear some new Brand New and Circa Survive.
|
I feel like Jimmy Eat World would be much higher if it had a definite release date of 2012. The Early November being in the top five is enough to make me happy though.

All the metalcore on the list makes me sad.
|
No Wilhelm, No Trigger or Menzingers. I'm losing faith.
EDIT: Oh, THERE'S the "Next 30 Button". Where are my reading spectacles!? |

Would have never guessed The Word Alive would beat out the bands they did...I don't know how I missed voting in this, I am apparently oblivious.

Really surprised by some of these. Just didn't know that many people would vote for them on this site! Linkin Park? The Word Alive? Asking Alexandria?
Hmm...okay. But, a lot of great ones too! |

I don't think anyone even knows if AWS is releasing anything close to a full-length. And No Trigger are tiny. |

This, but only because I don't see any good metalcore bands. It's like kids refuse to dig :(. And I'm using it a little loosely here, but isn't Coalesce due for a new album? Code Orange Kids? The Chariot? |
