For the same reason we don't refer to Lady Gaga as Stephanie. We all know that's her real name, but that's not the name she performs under just like Sonny performs as Skrillex.

I'd really like it if people refrained from criticizing dubstep every time Skrillex is mentioned, that's the equivalent of crtizicing metalcore whenever Asking Alexandria is mentioned.

Heard about this the other day, upset me so much I refused to believe it was real. Love Ellie, she's so adorable. I don't know how you could put up with anyone who digs his kind of music, let alone makes it.
