Why has Blink chosen such lackluster bands to open for them since re-uniting?

TheModernAge 02/16/12 06:58 PM

Makes me appreciate the fact that I got to see Rancid open for them this summer.

I wouldn't call that a tour, they're playing 5 shows in one tiny area.

They'll probably add dates, I already know they have a couple Canadian dates lined up right after.

can't wait for bamboozle.

Old username, wish I could change it. Sorry, just think MCR puts on a hell of a lot better show than blink.

First My Chemical Romance and now All- American Rejects. What's up with blink taking such bad bands on tour?

or just taking a band they've already taken out before again.

It's not like they took Manchester Orchestra and Matt And Kim out for an amphiteater tour or anything.

Neither of those bands is what most people would define as "small"

Wish they'd bring out somebody like Such Gold instead of this garbage.

For the majority of people attending a blink concert or an amphiteater concert, they are pretty tiny.

hey i wouldnt mind seeing weezer and FOB with blink, that would be fun. and blink has taken out a lot of smaller bands, like against me! and rancid on this most recent tour. they also had alkaline trio and the ataris on the first honda civic tour

I wouldn't either, but it'd be better for some lesser known bands to get those slots anyway. I didn't know they toured with Rancid, that'd be amazing. Too bad I was broke.

really? When I saw them with Blink in Charlotte I thought they were really into it

why do TAAR always open for Blink? They already did their half of the reunion tour years ago.
