Feature + Interview: Max Bemis & Say Anything

At this point, we've all decided to listen to Max Bemis through thick and thin, in sickness and in health. For nearly ten years, the Say Anything mastermind has won over fans through all kinds of sounds, and will do it again with the release of Anarchy, My Dear on March 13th via Equal Vision Records. I had the chance to chat with Max, where we talked about the new record, "Admit It Again," ...Is A Real Boy, Perma (his band with wife Sherri Dupree-Bemis), and the future in general. You can read the feature right here.

Good read, man. I have the biggest man-crush on Mr. Bemis.

Nice feature but I'm interested to know how long ago he was interviewed.

As with everything he's said about the album, I wish any of that were true :(

Love that man.

I wish they had a more consistent discography.

I love Max so much that it makes me feel bad that I am losing interest in this band's music.

Everything besides ...Is a Real Boy is really spotty for me, and I don't enjoy the new record at all

I really enjoyed this. I'm excited for both Perma and Two Tongues. Max has always seemed to be a smart and ambitious person; I'd be interested to see what he would do for a screenplay and/or a graphic novel.
