Okay. I am officially taking issue with the RIYL being The Replacements and Smoking Popes. I don't hear it. To me this sounds the most like Limbeck, The Weakerthans, and The Forecast. Also a little bit of middle-period Get Up Kids.

I thought this dude always sounded like Adam Duritz (there's the pop). But they're kind of punk-ish.

This times a lot. Like yeah, those bands were influenced by the Replacements too, but they have already released popular albums, and this sounds like those bands more than the originals.
