Would have loved to see Nickleback on that list, sigh.

Most pointless list ever minus Kent, because I haven't heard of them.

Can't believe people are seriously giving her shit for those three albums. Grow up.

What happened to NFG - coming home?

That's considered giving someone shit? The harshest post on this thread called her picks "typical". Aside from Kent, you have to admit those picks are pretty common and cliche.

no New Found Glory or Taking Back Sunday?!?

She's lucky I find her adorable, or I might say something snarky like most of this thread.

How's it cliche if its honest and true?

Sherri Dupree-Bemis of Eisley wrote up a piece on the albums that changed most people's lives.

There that's better.

Those can honestly be albums that changed her life, but that doesn't mean that those aren't pretty stereotypical indie favorites. They're cliche just because those choices are overused. It doesn't have anything to do with whether or not they're true.

I think it's more that people think her list is redundant. Generally, if you've heard any of these albums, they've changed your life.

But she would have been lying or answering their question dishonestly if she didn't include them.

I definitely agree with NMH. The others are "meh" for me.

(I don't have a Beatles album that changed my life. Just the band, and John Lennon's solo work, did as a whole.)

I'd add Dog Problems by The Format and From Under The Cork Tree by Fall Out Boy to my list. Hate.

But then that really begs the question, why bother writing it in the first place?

Can't hate on that, my friend. I agree completely.
