Message from the label

Basically, we are going to be moving out of our current warehouse space within the next month or so and when you move, it makes sense to try to tighten up the ship a little bit. We want to do a “spring cleaning” sale where we give fans of the label and our bands a chance to buy many of the titles in our back catalog for much cheaper than you can normally get them. It can help fill in some holes in your collection and simultaneously help us relieve a little strain on our backs when we’re moving boxes into the new P+P HQ in a few weeks. We’re going to sell older LPs for $4, newer ones for $5, and 7”s and CDs will go for $2. If you order over $50 of stuff, we’ll throw in another free 12” as a thank-you. Rock on.

Had a full cart of stuff, went to check out and the price more than doubled with shipping costs. Safe to say I didn't complete the order.

Same, the shipping still made it $20 so def not gonna order.

Was thinking about grabbing one or two records, until I saw the above posts. Lame sauce.

Picked up both The Swellers' vinyl. Excellent deal, even when you factor in the pricey shipping costs.

Shipping was kind of beat
Also was disappointed that End Measured Mile wasn't on there
Ordered Rehasher, Flatliners/Snips, and BTMI though

And the shipping costs actually favor small orders
I believe it's only like $5ish for a 7" or $7ish for a 12" shipped which is a great deal if i'm correct. It's once you start adding atuff you realize the shipping is as much as your order.

So....shipping is less than $5 for anyone who is thinking about passing up on some awesome deals because of average shipping prices. Grabbed the Swellers for $8.90. I'd call that a deal.

literally just bought the farewell continental LP for full price ($14) two weeks ago. fuck.

5.90 shipping for both swellers records. not complaining one bit.

3 records + 2 toys under $50? Killer deal

whats the the shipping complaints? just ordered both swellers records and the wilhelm scream self titled and the shipping was 8 bucks, but if you split that between the 3 i'm only paying 7 bucks a piece for ups and downsizing and a wilhelm scream and 4 bucks for the swellers 7" thats cheap as hell.

This was my cart. $31 total. It was just about $20 for shipping. Totally unreasonable if you ask me. Should be about half of that.

That's not unreasonable at all for that much stuff.

Picked up the Swellers' full length and EP for under $12 including shipping. Awesome deal!

I agree that 20 bucks for shipping is unreasonable, but in this instance you paid a total of 50 bucks for 9 records. that means each record you picked up cost you under 6 bucks. that's still dirt cheap for any record. even 7" and splits are usually 12 - 15 bucks a pop.

Just grabbed My Roaring Twenties and Farewell Continental' entire discography for 11 bucks with shipping. Amazing.

Got Cheap Girls and BTMI for under $10 including shipping. Not bad.

Six 12" and three 7" records should only be $10 to ship? Maybe you're not familiar with how things work.

Regardless, after reading the concerns about shipping, I just changed our shipping policy in the webstore:

For all U.S. orders, the first LP is $4.90, and each additional 12" is $1, while each additional 7" is an extra 50 cents to add onto the price.

That means that your specific order will now cost like $12 or so.

Also really hoping the name of this sale doesn't get me sued by Subway.

If you literally are grabbing two records then your shipping will be $5.90. Not ridiculous at all really.

LOL at someone bitching that 6 LPs and some 7"s cost 20 to ship. Jesus.

Does anyone know if all the vinyls come with an instant download?

Just to prove my point, here is a mock order from the Bridge 9 store that includes 6 LPs and some 7"s:



As you can see, to ship the whole order Media Mail, I am only charged $5.60. If USPS (First Class or Priority) is chosen, then it changes to $15.

If you are all claiming that my original quarrel is unreasonable, please explain how Bridge 9 can send this for $5.60 but P+P can't.

Different shipping policies for different labels, that's all. You try another label, you might get charged $30. A lot of it depends on how mailorder works.
