fun. Profiled in the New York Times

fun. were recently profiled in the New York Times.
From the Article“I started falling in love with the Drake album and the Kanye album, and I thought, that’s really theatrical, and it’s hip-hop music, and I make really theatrical music,” Mr. Ruess said. “Why can’t I add a hip-hop element?” He said his idea was “to take that ’70s songwriting style but modernize it a little bit more.”

Saw them last night in Birmingham and they were incredible.

Crazy to see them on Billboard and in the Times in a week's time. So rad

Read this yesterday. I can't wait to see them in New Olreans next Sunday!

Really good read. I like what Bhasker brought to the album.

I love how he keeps referencing Kanye as an influence even though three years ago he said Kanye was a dick and had no "flow." I mean, people are allowed to change their minds, but part of me thinks it's only because he wanted Bhasker to work on his album and bring fun. into the mainstream.

What?? No flow?? 808s and Heartbreak was a piece of music that was super influential. West took a chance and did a 180 on what he was comfortable doing. If anything, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy was what influenced Ruess the most. Fishsticks and egotistical dick jokes aside, West is a talented person. I do not know where Ruess is coming from.

Because a person cant grow and change in 3 years and learn to appreciate things they never cared for in the past

It's weird to see Nate referred to as "Mr. Reuss".

Nice for the New York Times to quote some lyrics and then get them wrong.
