ABSOLUTExclusive: Deadhorse

Deadhorse is an instrumental post-rock band from Erie, PA that has a knack for creating luscious music that takes listeners on trips through aural bliss. Today we are premiering the band's video for "No Particular Night Or Morning," a video that clocks in at just under seven minutes. You can view it in the replies.

Oh shit. Pretty awesome seeing them get posted here. Fantastic band

Really awesome band. But why is it trendy to release things on cassette lately? Nothing could ensure that your listeners get a worse audio/listening experience. You put all of this time into recording and putting in brilliant little details but the listener misses out completely on all of those things when listening to the music on cassette.

And who has a cassette player in the first place?

Never heard this band before but the was beautiful and amazing.

Im putting out this cassette on my label and I get this question quite a bit. I honestly believe that a cassette is more of a cool(and cheap) collectors item for fans. If I was at a merch table I would rather purchase a cassette with a digital download for 5 bucks instead of a straight up download card. Cassettes may not be for everyone but I honestly believe its a unique and rather inexpensive way of releasing music.

fully backed. We recently started doing limited runs of them on our own of our newest release and it's gone over pretty well for people who want to listen to it and just want to have one. This band rules.

Love seeing this band get some recognition. One of my favorite bands to play with and some of the nicest people around.

Nice to see a post-rock instrumental group get some attention on here. Really good band. Excited for their future.
